The effect of Alcohol on body
What if you drink too much of alcohol?
Today,
the most ‘asked question is “Is alcohol is bad for body? Or what if we
drink too much of alcohol? After doing lots of study I found that this
question is mostly asked by teenager or college going student. Who drink
alcohol daily because they find alcohol a good relaxation agent, social lubricant or simply enjoy the feeling it generates.
Some
of the teenager, student or elder people who want to build their body
or want a good physics but have a drinking habit can build their body
while drink alcohol moderately.
- Some of aspects that keep in mind:
- Don’t drink too much on the same day.
- You don’t have to cut out alcohol to loss fat from your body.
- Drink occasionally but in control manner like 2-3 glass of vine.
- Maintain your diet with low calories food.
Drinking too much of alcohol may cause you:

Do you have to cut out alcohol to get rid of fat?
From a metabolic perspective, alcohol and your body have a weird
relationship. There’s actually been a lot of research into it over the
years because it’s so surprising.
Numerous studies, both observational and in controlled settings, have
shown that people can consume light to moderate amounts of alcohol and
not necessarily gain weight. (Moderate drinking is defined as 1 drink a
day for women and no more than 2 drinks a day for men.)
Your
body can’t store alcohol and the 7 calories per gram it delivers. (Yup,
it does have calories — more per gram than carbs and protein, but less
than fat.) So instead the body fast-tracks that booze through your
system.
Additionally,
a high percentage of calories from alcohol get burned up by your
metabolism through a process called the thermic effect of food (TEF).
The thermic effect of alcohol is about 22.5%, which puts it on par with
protein (which has a TEF of 25-30%) and well ahead of carbs (6-8%) and
fat (2-3%).
From
this one thing that prove is if you drink few days in a week moderately
then drinking alcohol is not effect on your weight loss goals and doing exercise daily may help you to be fit and have a good healthy body.
Does alcohol make you fattier?
Alcohol also lowers inhibitions, which encourages drinkers to consume
more. At the same time, it increases hunger. Bar food (and food that
sounds good while drinking) isn’t known for being healthy or low in
calories. “Pub grub” usually entails items like French fries, nachos,
and other addictive, snackable goodies that encourage you to binge. Even
a low-key night out with friends can quickly put you on your
recommended calories for just a happy hour alone.
However, alcohol also works against you by slowing your metabolism.
Metabolisms naturally slow down with age (which is why teenagers can
seemingly eat so much and stay slender). Once a metabolism has been
damaged, to some degree it can’t be “fixed.” Those with eating disorders
who keep their body in a constant state of starvation can do permanent
damage to their metabolism. Alcohol can also cause permanent damage.
It’s in everyone’s best interest to keep their metabolism in top working
order.
Precautions that you have to take it seriously
- There are ways to boost your metabolism, such as consuming spicy foods. For those who don’t like the heat, a supplement of capsicum daily can help. Ayurvedic practices such as drinking warm water with a fresh squeezed lemon first thing in the morning can also help boost your metabolism. However, these healthy approaches can’t undo the damage done by alcohol.
- You should know that how much you drink on a particular day “Is this in controlled manner or excessive”. According to the pervious study you have to drink moderately on any occasion. Drinking more than that in not well for your body. It may lead to weight gain or increase your waist circumstance or other problem that was show in the figure previously. Too much of dinking also lead to premature death in India.
- If you’re occasional cocktail with friends is just that — a cocktail — then the caloric load probably isn’t all that significant. But if your drinks seem to come with a late night pizza chaser, you might have an issue on your hands. Here again, cutting out drinks might help your fat loss.
- Burn more calories than you are consuming whether that’s eating OR drinking.
